Our Leadership

The founder and Director at Beit Shalom House of Peace, Patricia Callen. Patricia has been in ministry in one form since she was a teen living in California and ministering on the Beaches of Venice with Church on The Way Four Square Church. Patricia has always had a deep love and passion for serving Adonai as she knows Him. She was given a vision when she was 14 years old of having a transitional home for women. Not fully understanding exactly what that was, she held that vision close to her heart. Over the years, she has taken in numerous children and women who needed a safe place to feel the love of God. In 2001 she became a victims advocate in Lake Havasu City, AZ, where she assisted local, state, and federal police at the scenes of violent crimes and offered victims advocacy services. In 2002 Patricia returned to her home in northern New Mexico and began working as a domestic violence / sexual assault victims advocate. She oversaw violence prevention programs in 13 communities. She led the Educating The Educator program, which taught educators, clergy, law enforcement, and community leaders of the signs and symptoms of childhood abuse. As a survivor of childhood abuse and domestic violence, Patricia has the heart to serve others who are hurting and in pain. In 2007 She became ordained through the Fellowship Church and started the Women's Red Tent Retreat and ministry. Later in 2007, she began training as a life coach, an ongoing personal assignment now certified in Therapeutic art coaching and EFT/TFT and trained in EMDR therapy. In 2012 She became ordained through Glorybound Ministries in Albuquerque, New Mexico. She was active in homeless ministries and a leader in "Pray for Our City." Patricia believes God has guided her through every step. He was equipping her with His promise for her future. Patricia resides in Texarkana, Texas, with her two adult daughters and a grandson.
